Writing a great PowerPoint story requires 3 steps.

Step #1 Learn to use PowerPoint
Step #2 Write a great story on paper

Remember PowerPoint presentations are multiple pages or slides. It is good to keep this in mind as you begin writing your story.

Almost all good fiction stories have 4 main parts.

Why not devote one page to each part. Its even better to write each page on a different day to make sure each part is the best it can be.

Page 1 Describe the main character. (Ideas) Describe what he looks like. Tell about his family. What kinds of things does he like to do? What is his personality like?	Page 2 Describe the setting. (Ideas) City or Country? Cold or hot? Inside or outside? Night or day? What does it look like? What does it feel like? What does it smell like? What does it sound like?
Page 3 Describe the problem. (Ideas) Fiction author’s often write about things that happen to them in their real lives. Someone got mad at you. You had an argument with a friend or family member. Something got broken. You made a big mess. Someone got sick. Be sure to tell how the problem made each character feel.	Page 4 How does the problem get solved. (Ideas) To finish your story you must describe how the problem gets solved. Be sure and give lots of details and tell how each character felt after the problem is solved. Add an ending! Tell what life was like for the main character after the problem was solved. Did he learn a lesson?

Step #3 Type your story into a pre-made PowerPoint template. Be sure to add lots of interesting pictures.
