Arizona Young Readers' Award
Every year children in Arizona give an award to a recently published picture book, chapter book, and a middle school/YA book. Ten books in each category are nominated in the Spring to be read the following school year. In January school librarians and teachers give their students the opportunity to vote on their favorite new books.
