Directions

To start a web quest page:

  1. Start a new page in Microsoft Front Page
  2. Write the words: home, introduction, task process, resources, evaluation, conclusion, extension and teacher comments. 
  3. Separate the words with a "|" mark (Shift -\)
  4. Write the words again down the left margin of your page
  5. Highlight each word; hit ctrl-G (or go to insert- bookmark) for each word.
  6. Highlight each word at the to of the page. Right click and select hyperlink.
  7. Select bookmark; select the same word from the list; click okay.
  8. Insert a bookmark at the top of the page by placing the cursor at the top right hand corner; select ctrl+G
  9. Write the words "Top of Page" below the first section of the web quest.
  10. Highlight "top of page"; right click to hyperlink; click bookmark and then select top of page.
  11. Copy and paste the linked word "top of page" below each section
  12. Add color (format-background), insert graphics, word art and links to other sites.
