Jurassic Period

During the Jurassic period, the land masses began to be separated by oceans. The continents began to move apart. This was the time of giant dinosaurs. The landscapes were lush and tropical and the weather was warm. There were many more giant trees and ferns covering the earth. There was more geologic activity with the formation of volcanoes.
